Joy of Joys we have 10 baby ducks in the Garden!

Mum and Dad have been holidaying at Acarsaid fo 8 years now, coming back each year before nesting time for a wee rest. But this year Mum decided to lay her eggs in our disused herb garden.

On Thursday 29th May the eggs hatched and we had 11 gorgeous wee ducklings running around. One looked poorly from the start and was quickly picked off by a predator.

However, Mum is doing a fab job and she still has the remaining 10 in tow.

They are having a ball at Acarsaid as you can see from the photos - the guests are pretty enthralled too!
